PSX Style VHS Tapes

Not really sure anyone actually reads these little blurbs I write here, but I'm gonna write another one anyways, so here we go!

This project is a bit different to what I normally upload, but I really wanted to do this one. I found a bin of old home videos from when I was young, and I wanted to digitize them but it's a bit difficult to find a VCR these days, so I opted for for a less traditional method of digitization. I ended up taking 160 high res photos, and spent a while cropping, resizing, and quantizing the images to give them a PSX look. They are covered in my grandparent's handwriting so that makes them pretty special to me, and hopefully their uniqueness will make them a bit special to you too. I would love for these to live on a game, but anything other than stylized simplistic 3D modeling is way out of my wheelhouse. So hopefully these models can find a way to live on in someone else's story!

Anyways I'll get into the specifics. There are 28 different models, all using one texture atlas, and I limited the color palettes for every image, so this is probably one of the most optimized projects I've done.

I have decided to start uploading in glTF/glb format as it is supported by most popular platforms now, and it's just easier for me to do. If you would like FBX or OBJ files, just ask and I will send them when I get a moment, or feel free to convert the files yourself! :D
